My favourite photos
I’m no judge as to whether these are good shots, or even the best that I’ve taken, but they are some of my favourites, either because of the way they came out, or because of the excitement I felt while I was taking them. Click on the image to enlarge it (as you should be able to do with all the images on the site), in no particular order…
- Taken in Glen Moriston, near Dundreggan
- An amazing silver y taken at RSPB Arne
- Probably my favourite grasshopper shot from Arne
- Comma butterfly, Arne
- Mr Swallow trying out some chat up lines at Dundreggan
- This Redshank was at Loch of Kinnordy
- My world famous pike picture from Loch of Kinnordy
- Early morning Ospreys, also taken during my stay at Loch of Kinnordy
- A very beautiful female stonechat on the Cornish coast
- Five dolphins seen from the cliffs of West Cornwall
- This young Dartmoor fox has probably given me my favourite photo moment
- A roe deer on Dartmoor

Love the colour contrast in that moth(?) shot, and the grasshopper is sublime. Looks a bit like a cartoon character…fantastic detail. Think we should be able to decide on a couple of favourites too though…
